Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime? Women in Progress is currently looking for motivated individuals
to be part of the first group to volunteer abroad in Ghana, Africa. Through a short-term volunteer overseas assignment,
you will have an impact on helping Women in Progress put the proper processes in place in order to roll out the volunteer
program on a larger scale.
If you are up for this challenge, just follow these simple steps to apply for a volunteer position.
Application Process
- Complete and submit the Registration Form with a non-refundable $100 deposit to initiate the placement process.
- Women in Progress will contact you within two weeks to discuss your interests, potential volunteer positions, and other pre-departure requirements.
- Women in Progress will send or email you additional forms to be completed (health & emergency contact form, volunteer agreement).
- Pay the remainder of your Program Fee to Women in Progress 60 days before departure.
- Once a match is made, you will receive a/n:
- Volunteer Orientation Packet (introduction to the culture, tips on packing and traveling, what to expect, etc.)
- Overview of your assigned business and location
- Description of the project’s objectives
- Explanation of your role on the project
- Chosen topic for training courses (if you have offered to teach a course)
